Mike Brindisi is a writer, performer, producer, based in Ithaca, New York.
A lifelong entertainer and storyteller, Mike has spent his career creating content across music, comedy, radio, television, film, and digital media.
As the lead singer, songwriter, and frontman of The New York Rock, he toured throughout the Northeast, recorded multiple albums, and built a loyal following through high-energy live performances and original music. (The band has been on indefinite hiatus since 2018).
As a Comedian, Mike currently performs stand-up comedy throughout New York State and beyond, blending sharp observations, misdirection, physical storytelling, and improvisation. His work has taken him from comedy clubs and theaters, to festivals and independent productions, while continuing to build a growing presence both on stage and online.
In broadcasting, Mike spent nearly a decade as an on-air host at 96.7 FM The Vine in Ithaca, where he hosted a daily music radio show and connected with listeners across the Finger Lakes region. He has also worked in sports media, serving as a producer, PA, host, and content creator covering local and professional sports.
Most recently, Mike served as the Senior Content Producer and On-Air Host for Good News York and GNY Sports, where he wrote, produced, hosted and edited hundreds of interviews, podcast episodes, segments and social clips. His work highlighted inspiring people, business owners, athletes, musicians, comedians and organizations throughout New York State, while helping grow the brands’ digital and social media presence.
His entertainment credits include appearances on Saturday Night Live (SNL), The Howard Stern Show, MTV2, national commercials, television and film productions, and music performances on the Vans Warped Tour.
An alumnus of the Ithaca College Park School of Communications, Mike continues to create, perform, and produce content across multiple platforms, combining his passions for storytelling, comedy, music, broadcasting, and live entertainment. |
